Welcome to Delaware's Premier Square Dance Club!
That's right, The 2x4s Square Dance Club is the ONLY Square Dance Club in our little state. We welcome friends, families, couples, and singles! Each September, we host a Free Open House to introduce the fun of Square Dancing to the community, but you are encouraged to visit any time and check us out. We offer classes for beginners (Mainstream) and continuing (Plus) students. We also host dances twice a month on 2nd and 4th Fridays throughout the year, including during the Summer months. Our long-time club caller is Clay Goss, an experienced instructor and choreographer with a wonderful singing voice and a wide repertoire of music. Clay loves song requests, so be ready with yours! Russ Booz recently came on board to promote Round Dance (choreographed ballroom) in-between tips at our dances. Russ brings a fun, lighthearted approach that makes learning new steps less intimidating.
We find dancing to be a wonderful art form that kinda feels like friendship, self-care, therapy, and exercise all rolled into one.
